The main objective of the work is to facilitate a review process that will support the Irish Forest School Association (IFSA) committee to draw together an agreed vision and mission statement.
It is envisaged that this process will provide the committee with a supported reflective space to facilitate these practical outcomes as the organisation moves into the next important phase of its development. This will also include a final agreed report including clear agreed decisions and any actions/tasks that emerge.
Timescale, budget and reporting requirements:
Date:
August 7th Time: 10.30 – 2.30pm.
Venue:
Kilkenny County Childcare Committee, Kilkenny Education Centre, Kilkenny.
Reporting:
The successful applicant will need to produce a report to be completed and submitted to the chairperson by 24th Aug. The budget for this will be no more than €300 inclusive of Vat. Experience of facilitating similar processes is required and an affinity with IFSA’s principles would be advantageous.

Thanks to everyone who came along to our conference and AGM on 21/22 April 2018.
It seems like the occasion was very fruitful and much enjoyed by everyone who was there. We will consider all of the feedback and the outcome from the conversation cafe at our meeting in June and post the outcome on the website for you all, along with the minutes of the AGM, insurance updates, photos and resources.
Keep an eye on the Facebook page and the website and do get in touch if we can be of any help; We also we encourage you all to join our closed Facebook forum page.
And remember to save the date: IFSA Autumn Gathering: A Joint Gathering with NIFSA , in Clandyboye Estate, outside Belfast, Saturday 6th October 2018.
We are in the early stages of putting together a map of active Forest Schools practitioners in Ireland. We are keen to put together a comprehensive listing of active Forest Schools in Ireland. We plan to display this information on our website and social media for members, which will be a resource for anyone who is searching for a forest school to become involved with, or to send their children to.
Over time we hope to have this represented visually as a map on our website. Click on this link to complete the form. Completing this form implies consent for your details to be considered for inclusion in this listing. Only current Irish Forest School Association Members will be included. If you have any queries on this matter please contact info@irishforestschoolassociation.ie.
