Monday 25th March 2024, 7-8pm, led by Clare Murphy

Myth; our collective home – Myth and Forest School practice

Myth is the collective homeplace. Sometimes myth can feel untouchable, too sacred to tell, or somehow inaccessible to use at work. In this webinar Clare will introduce a few myths, and give some techniques for telling myth in a forest school setting. She will also give a reading list and some follow up ideas.

Dublin born storyteller Clare Murphy has told stories all over the world since 2006. She tells for all ages on all kinds of stages. She has performed in more than 20 countries to audiences of up to 5000 people. Her work ranges from science mashed with myth, historical folklore, to Irish myth and legend. She has performed for President Mary Robinson as well as at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory “masterly storytelling – all delivered at a pace which meant there was never a dull moment”
